Join the San Francisco Arts Commission Galleries for the opening reception of When Unearthed Sights Collide [2] featuring work by Shirin Khalatbari and Sun Park and curated by Shirin Makaremi!
The exhibition features the work of two emerging Bay Area artists Shirin Khalatbari and Sun Park. In When Unearthed Sights Collide, both artists established their own narratives of spirituality and history, questioning Western doctrines and exploring alternative methods in order to reclaim autonomy over spiritual and historical narratives.
When Unearthed Sights Collide will be on view in the SFAC Main Gallery from September 20 - December 14, 2024.
