Public Meeting

Organization Project Grants (OPG)-Visual Arts, Media & Music Review Panel

DUE TO PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS THIS MEETING HAS BEEN MOVED TO AN ONLINE PLATFORM AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE APPLICANTS WHO ARE UNDER REVIEW.

If applicants are available, they are welcome to sit in on the deliberation of their own or any proposal. Members of the public who attend this meeting are not permitted to speak, their attendance will not be recorded, and their presence will have no impact on the review or scoring of their application. SFAC offers this opportunity to help applicants improve upon their own proposal and learn from the panel as they discuss the various strengths and areas of improvement of submissions.

Benefits of attending the review panels:

  • Get feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of your application, including project design/narrative, project budget, work sample(s), etc.
  • Opportunity to have your work reviewed by 4-6 respected artists, administrators, and peers in the field
  • Receive feedback on grantsmanship
  • Get an overview of the applicant pool
  • Gain insights into broader trends and field issues
The time frame in which your application will be reviewed is listed below. Scheduled times provided are estimated. We try to keep as close to the schedule as possible but may run early or over time. At the panel, to avoid the perception of influencing deliberations inappropriately, you may not engage in conversation with the panelists.
