The San Francisco Arts Commission welcomed members of San Francisco's art community, to the 2025 Annual Arts Convening in the Herbst Theater on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Mayor Daniel Lurie, Director of Cultural Affairs Ralph Remington, Commission President Chuck Collins, and SFAC Program Directors spoke at the Annual Convening and presented an overview of findings from fiscal year 2023-2024 and shared a preview of what is in store for the agency in 2025.
The evening also featured a reading and spoken word performance by author London Pinkney, and honored Artistic Legacy Grant awardees Rhodessa Jones (2024), La Pocha Nostra - Guillermo Gómez-Peña (2023), and Theatre of Yugen - Yuriko Doi (2022) and recognize past awardees Anne Bluethenthal - ABD/Skywatchers (2021) and Joanna Haigood - Zaccho SF (2020).
