SFFILM Education reaches more than 10,000 students and teachers annually. SFFILM's programs strive to help students from kindergarten through college develop media literacy skills, cross-cultural awareness, and a lifelong appreciation of movies. The program offers screenings for schools, study guides, professional development, filmmaker visits to classrooms, filmmaking classes in schools, and summer filmmaking camps.
