Our timeline is as follows:
- Grantee signs contract
- Grant is routed to the City Attorney for signature
- Grant is routed to Arts Commission's Director of Cultural Affairs for a signature
- Grantee is completely “vendorized” and all insurance forms have been submitted
- Grantee has filled out the demographic survey
- Grantee signs up for direct deposit if so desired
- Advance is released to grantee
- Arts Commission sends grantee electronic reporting packet
Our peer review panel process was designed to ensure transparency of our grantmaking and to reflect our agency values of cultural equity. Panelists will review grant applications, meet in a publicly-accessible setting to discuss, score, and, ultimately, make funding recommendations to the commission.
